Projects completed in 2019

Five Solomon island mean taking a break from painting in the shade of the clinic. Large buckets of paint in the foreground.

Mulu’u Health Center

This clinic offers health services to a population of 40.000 people.
We provided replacement, secondhand medical equipment including beds, wheelchairs and crutches.

Painted the Mulu’u health center inside and out. This included 9 wards (rooms) 20/20m including a high pitched roof, foyer and office area including roof. The project took two weeks to complete with up to 20 volunteer workers at one time. Paint was supplied by Resene to paint the clinic. A huge help.

Donated items

We requested donations of items and coordinated shipment to the Solomon islands.

To raise the $8000 for the container I hosted a dinner of 80 guests and auctioned items donated by businesses. Rotary donated $1000. Everything else was paid for personally.
